Dunkin Doughnuts Complaint

Well, this not a complaint as much as it is an annoyance. Every time I get a cup of coffee at Dunkin Doughnuts I get a receipt with my change. I have asked why they always give a receipt and tell me that is policy. Why is it policy? First...you can't deduct your morning coffee from your taxes..federal or state. Second..almost everyone that leaves there throws out the receipt on the way out the door and the few that don't I am sure throws it out later. If a receipt is needed, one can ask for it, in cases where they must show a receipt for the purchase of the coffee to their bosses, if he is buying for a group of people..etc. But, it seems crazy to give a receipt out to every customer and waste so much paper in doing so, when the customers are not interested in having a receipt. Lighten up DD and save some trees and help the environment or you will lose at least one customer.
